The Glendora Tartans had a tough road in their second round CIF game against Corona Santiago. Santiago defeated the Tartans 25-21, 25-12, 25-14. Alex Lowden led Glendora in kills with 11 and in digs with 18. Jessie Morse added 8 kills. Rachel Demerjian had 19 assists while Madi Redd had 13 digs. The Tartans fished their season as Palomares League Champions with a overall record of 17-10.

Tartans came out strong in the first round of playoffs and defeated Edison H.S. in sudden death overtime with a spectacular goal by Ellie Morrison assisted by Jillian “JJ” Juarez. Goals by Cailin Bliss and Angelina Arnal. Assisted by Jillian “JJ” Juarez and Luna Roep. The Tartans take on Harvard Westlake in the semi-finals at 4:45pm away at Harvard Westlake High School.

The Tartan girls finished their 2017 season at Los Serranos Country Club on Monday. The players shot a total score of 441 for 9th place in the CIF Central Division Championship. Jadan Gonzalez shot 75, Kralyn Salazar 79, Kirsten Lindner 93, Jojo Weng 94, Avishka Jayasekara 100, and Braxtyn Mikesell 108.

Bryce Wooldrige throw 3 TD passes, Dylan Hill led all receivers with 4 catches and 110 yards with 2 TD’s (also had a rushing TD). Parker Haveles has a 19 yard TD reception. The Tartans rushed for 232 yards. 11 Tartans ran the ball, led by Erick Franco who had 110 yards. On defense, Cameron Keller had 2 interceptions one of which he ran back for a TD.
